Two years after the first symposium of its kind, Food for Your Whole Life returns in June, 2012, bringing together internationally recognized researchers, clinicians, educators and health experts to share new research and theories on nutrition. Attendees will leave with the tools needed to improve our nation's health and be empowered knowing that nutritious food is a tasty and delicious way to improve your health. Eating well is important at any age; this symposium is designed into two days of activities:
Sunday, June 3, 2012: A public forum open to all and included in health professional registration. Come learn more about how to better care for yourself and your family - at all stages of life - through exhibits, presentations, cooking demonstrations and exercise sessions. Experts including Drs. Mehmet Oz, Michael Roizen and David Katz will help demystify healthy choices, appropriate for anyone.
Monday, June 4, 2012: Day two is open to health professionals and media only. World renowned health experts and leaders will offer the latest research and unique insight into the best foods, vitamins, minerals and lifestyle behaviors correlating to various life spans. Attendees will leave understanding the latest scientific theories on chronic illness such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and stroke and the role food may play in improving outcomes.
